Book Your Cruise in Advance and Guarantee the Lowest Price!

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

Carnival Cruiselines is already the best value in cruising, and now they have introduced the Early Saver Program.  It’s a new Special Rate that rewards consumers who book early with the lowest rate guaranteed!  If, after booking, you find a lower Carnival advertised fare for the same sailing and accommodations, Carnival will issue the difference in an onboard credit.  This policy is in effect for up to two business days prior to sailing.

In addition, you also have the added benefits that come with booking early - wide availability of staterooms, dates, and destinations, and a deposit that is refundable up to the final payment date!

It is never too early to start planning your cruise, and now with Carnival it is beneficial that you do!  I am an Accredited Cruise Counsellor, and I’d love to help you choose YOUR perfect cruise!

The World’s Largest Swimming Pool

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

At over a kilometre long and covering 8 hectares, THIS MONSTER POOL at the San Alfonso Del Mar Resort in Chile is truly a site to behold.  It took 5 years to build at a cost of about $1.8 Billion, and costs over $3 Million per year to maintain.  The “deep end” is over 30 metres, and it holds 250 million litres of water. The pool uses a computer controlled suction and filtration system, drawing in from the ocean at one end and pumping it out the other.  The sun warms the water to 26 degrees celsius, 9 degrees warmer than the adjoining ocean.

Anyone up for some laps?
