Showers in the Air! Are you kidding me?
Just when we thought that airlines couldn’t cut back any more on their services, we hear that Emirates taking a step in the other direction and launching the world’s first in-flight shower!
From Friday, passengers on board the new Superjumbo A380 will be able to indulge in ’shower spas’. They will have a 5 minute limit to ensure that all of the 14 first class passengers can have their turn.
First class on this plane also boasts 14 flat bed massage equipped Private Suites, which include remote control doors, a work desk, a remote controlled mini bar, and the most advanced in flight entertainment system available to travellers.
The airplane goes into service this Friday for flights from New York to Dubai.
