This summer I had the opportunity to visit a truly outstanding resort: Beaches Turks and Caicos.  It was only for one night, but that was long enough to be very impressed with what the property has to offer.  The other three Beaches properties are in Jamaica (I have also toured Beaches Boscobel), and they have many of the same features and amenities, however the Turks and Caicos location is certainly the jewel in the crown.

Beaches Turks and Caicos is comprised of the Caribbean Village, the French Village, and the brand new all-suite Italian Village, each with it’s own unique feel.  It has all the amenities of the biggest resorts (and much more), and yet it is cozy and comfortable, and they make personal attention a priority.  They also go out of their way to make kids feel important, and staff will typically address them first.

• Pirates Island Water Park, recently expanded to 45,000 square feet and now the the best water park in the Caribbean!  It features a kid’s swim up bar and a surf simulator.
• An unbelievable dining selection, with 16 Specialty Restaurants to choose from.  That’s on top of the 12 bars serving unlimited premium drinks!
• Beaches is “Luxury Included”, a huge leap past the typical All-Inclusive standard of Caribbean resorts. 
• An incredible array of land and water sports is available, including 6 pools and a fabulous beach.
• Beaches, along with Sandals resorts, are home to Red Lane Spas, widely considered to be ‘magical temples of rejuvenation’.  There are also excellent workout facilities.
• Comprehensive SCUBA diving in a world class diving destination, free for all guests.  You can even take your certification there if you don’t have it yet!   There is also a marine preserve a short walk up the beach where you can snorke with turtles and tropical fishl (I did!).
• Family Suites are available, including bunk beds.  Some rooms even have professional butler service, and these guys will do pretty much ANYTHING to make your vacation better.
• For your wedding, honeymoon, or renewal of vows, Beaches and Sandals are simply the best.  They have even partnered with Wedding Planner to the Stars Preston Bailey to create the ultimate romantic experience.

Just for the kids:

• Babies and toddlers are cared for by the best nannies available, and reap the benefits of Beaches’ partnerships with Sesame Street and Crayola, including stage shows and parades just for the young ones!
• Kids Camp is available for infants up to age 12, Pirates Island is great for kids of all ages, and in the Beaches in Jamaica they can even join the Junior Golf Club
• Teens can experience XBox Game Garage, Scratch DJ Academy, Liquid Night Club, and Trench Town, a space filled with fun and exclusive to tweens and teens.
